NANHRI’s vision is to create a continent with effective NHRIs that contribute to an enhanced human rights culture and justice for every African. In pursuit of this vision, NANHRI has undertaken various initiatives, including engaging NHRIs to apply for affiliate status with the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC). This is part of a broader strategy to enhance the involvement of NHRIs in monitoring and protecting child rights in Africa.
